JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a hands‑on Electro‑Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of battery systems and related production equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, safety, and reliability within a fast‑paced battery manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and inspect electro‑mechanical battery system components and subassemblies
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing to verify functionality, performance, and safety
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures
• Support production equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance
• Identify and document defects, root causes, and corrective actions
• Follow all safety protocols related to high‑voltage systems, tools, and manufacturing equipment
• Accurately document work performed, test results, and quality checks
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent hands‑on experience in electro‑mechanical systems
• 1–3+ years of experience as an Electro‑Mechanical Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or similar role
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and basic mechanical measurement tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment

PREFERRED

• Experience working with battery systems, EV components, or energy storage systems
• Exposure to high‑voltage electrical systems (training provided if needed)
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and documentation
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume production environments
