Garden Center Delivery Driver Teammate

Our retail delivery driver teammates support our customer shopping experience by delivering customer orders from our stores, pulling products, placing items in specific pick up areas, deliver product to customer homes and contacting customers. Our Ecomm to their homes or business. Teammates spend their day in a flexible work environment pending order fluctuation you may be asked to do other duties such as sales, stocking or plant care. They work active days and derive satisfaction from supporting team mates and customers in a fast-paced retail environment. Each day these teammates learn more and gain more expertise in this great industry.

Your specific job responsibilities include:

• Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies
• Shows up on time ready work
• Greets customers with a warm smile
• Promptly responds to customer needs, requests for service or assistance
• Delivers products to customers and between stores
• Completes thorough and accurate pre-trip safety checks on each vehicle
• Keeps vehicles clean and in good working orders
• Communicates regularly with manager to ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed regularly
• Communicates using radios to other Moana teammates
• Takes care of plants in our inventory (including watering, pruning, fertilizing, etc) as directed
• Sells products based on customer needs
• Helps customers navigate through the online store
• Maintains a clean and organized work space
• Participates in cleaning and organizing throughout the store
• Helps restock our product
• Learns as much as they can
• Answers questions concerning price, sales, services and programs
• Provides outstanding customer service
• Thanks, our customers each and every time they visit!

Physical requirements and activity include:

• Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Applicant must be able to work outdoors for an extended period of time.

Expertise:

• Valid Nevada driver's license- if delivery person.
• Organized and detailed
• Experience for this role is not necessary, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are

Nice to have skills or experiences include:

• Experience working a Point of Sale system
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Proficient in basic level computer skills

Your future work schedule:

Our retail stores are open 7 days a week and we are busiest on the weekend. We are looking for teammates that can work weekends and be flexible to accommodate the changing retail environment. Please make sure you list your availability on the application.

Your future salary and benefits:

The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour and increases based on experience, expertise and responsibilities. Other benefits for this role include:
