The Banquet Food Server is responsible for serving guests food and beverages in a positive and timely manner, while collaborating with staff to ensure a smooth event.Duties:* Provide friendly and accurate service throughout the event.* Inspect the banquet rooms prior to events to ensure they align with the banquet event order.* Assist Captains in getting the room count to the Banquet kitchen.* Maintain knowledge of Peppermill amenities, particularly with public space facilities.* Ensure Banquet rooms and storage areas are kept clean and organized.* Report low supply inventories to management.* Report any maintenance, cleaning and repair needs to management.Qualifications:* Must be at least 18 years of age.* High School Diploma or G.E.D.* Two or more years of food serving experience.* Knowledgeable of food, wine and fine dining etiquette.* Must be able to service a buffet food line to ensure the highest quality of food is maintained.* Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.* Must be able to work independently in a fast-pasted environment.* Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
