ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal and unusual activities occurring in all outside areas as well as possible properties owned by Meruelo Group, LLC.
• Report all illegal and unusual activities to the appropriate authorities and management.
• Ensure the property is visually monitored in all areas at all times in order to identify possible theft or safety risks.
• Research and review incidents, locate video evidence requested for investigations by other departments and conduct special surveillance assignments.
• Prepare incident reports, observation reports, trouble reports, and investigation summaries.
• Assist in any internal or external investigations conducted with authorized Law Enforcement Agency.
• Ensure Team Members and Guests are complying with regulations, ordinance, and policies and procedures of the Property.
• Ensure all Surveillance equipment is functioning properly throughout respective shift.
• Maintain a good communication with Team Members and maintains a positive and professional work environment.
• Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required.
• Operate phones, computers and other surveillance equipment, input/retrieve data, take photographs and make DVD's.
• Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality while performing all surveillance duties.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Maintain a consistent and continuous self-education program, in preparation to acquire job knowledge.
Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and give directives to the Security Department and/or other outside agencies when needed as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of staff and Law Enforcement. • Able to make quick and accurate decisions and relay pertinent information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, professional manner.
Ability of simple reading, and complex writing and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: compiling, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1 year of previous Casino Surveillance experience required or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, occasionally standing and walking during the duration of their shift.
• Team member must be able to push/pull 25lbs or less occasionally.
• The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Work performed indoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and electrical devices.
• Team member may be exposed to confined areas.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud at times.
