About the Position

As a key member of our operations team, you will provide essential support to our Loan Officers throughout the mortgage process. From initial communication to coordinating milestone tasks, your work ensures a smooth, exceptional experience for every borrower.

Essential Functions

Loan File Preparation

• Receive and review loan applications, completing support activities with accuracy inside and outside of Encompass.
• Update, track, and organize loan files while coordinating with all operational departments to keep loans moving efficiently.
• Order required documents such as VOEs, title, appraisal, survey, and more.
• Process loans of all types, including USDA, FHA, VA, Conventional, and state bond programs.

Accuracy, Completeness & Compliance

• Ensure all required information is collected and meets lender and regulatory guidelines.
• Support operational teams with precise, complete work while maintaining full compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Overflow Support

• Provide processing overflow assistance during peak periods to help maintain timely, smooth operations across all branches.

Communication

• Serve as a key point of contact for Loan Officers, borrowers, and internal departments.
• Build strong relationships, provide timely updates, and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the loan process.

Experience Desired

• 3+ years of loan officer support experience in retail residential mortgages is required.
• Recent Encompass experience is required.
• Ability to successfully process 20+ loans closing per month.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
