Non-Negotiables ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification Required2 years Oncology experience preferred Unit Description Renown Regional Medical Center's Cancer Nursing Unit is a 31 bed unit, each room equipped with their own computer. We have a mixture of oncology patients, as well as, medical surgical patients. We primarily care for patients that are directly admitted for chemotherapy and/or are admitted for complications due to their disease process. Common chemotherapy regimens we administer are various Leukemia induction and consolidation regimens depending on genetics and R-CHOP & R-EPOCH for Lymphoma. We also have the capability of remote telemetry monitoring. Tele testing/ACLS is not required. Schedule Three 12 hour shifts required per week. One additional 12 hour shift required per 4 week schedule period. Travelers do float first prior to core staff. Floating is rotated between travelers and logged to ensure floating is alternated/rotated between staff. UPDATE: As of 6/12/20, Renown Reserves the right to call off, without penalty, FOUR (4) shifts, or 48 hours, for low census per 13 week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.UPDATE: RTO will be considered on a case by case basis for all assignments
