They will be responsible for maintaining an organized back room with proper inventory levels. This will ensure excellent store in-stock conditions and will provide a memorable experience to all our customers. An Inventory Management Specialist is a self-starter and is always ready to learn. An Inventory Management Specialist can work at a fast pace, has a keen eye for safety and will be responsible for setting the store up for operational success.

Responsibilities

An Inventory Management Specialist is a responsible, organized team member who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide support to all areas of the store which serves as the basis for successful store operations.

An Inventory Management Specialist's responsibilities include:

• Receiving and unloading of merchandise ensuring quality, count, and condition.
• Great organizational skills, maintaining a neat and clean back room and dock area.
• Processing vendor statements and bills on a weekly basis
• Excellent communication skills, with store team members and vendor partners
• Supporting overall in-stock conditions through store operations and vendor support to enhance the customer experience
• Ordering for various areas throughout the store and maintaining proper inventory control throughout the store.
• Follow all company policies in order to reduce waste and unnecessary costs and provide increased profitability.
• All other tasks, as assigned

Desired qualifications include:

• Friendly and customer service oriented. Interest in food a plus!
• Grocery or similar experience desired
• Self-motivated, with a high attention to organization, detail, quality, and presentation
• Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage time and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written directions
• Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy

Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending

Must be 18 years of age.
