Job Overview

Eckard Roofing is hiring a dependable Skilled Laborer to support our residential and commercial roofing crews in the field. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction or roofing experience who is eager to learn, works well with a team, and takes safety seriously. As a Skilled Laborer, you will assist with roofing installations, material handling, and jobsite operations while gaining valuable experience and growth opportunities within a respected roofing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist roofing crews with residential and commercial roofing projects
• Support installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems
• Work on both steep-slope and low-slope roofs
• Load, unload, and move roofing materials and tools safely
• Properly use hand and power tools under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and supervisor instructions
• Assist with jobsite setup and teardown
• Work cooperatively with crew members to meet project schedules

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction or roofing-related experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of tools used in roofing or construction
• Ability to follow directions and work safely at all times
• Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
• Respectful, team-oriented attitude
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws
