Location: This role can be based in either Carson City or Las Vegas, depending on what is most applicable to you. We are open to hybrid flexibility over time, but initial training and supervision are on-site.

Note: Must have prior law firm or legal industry experience. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, comfort with legal documents, and the ability to work on-site initially in either Carson City or Las Vegas.

Job Description

• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation and case management
• Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
• Assist with pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery materials, and other case-related documents
• Maintain and organize electronic and paper case files
• Track deadlines, filings, appointments, and key case activity
• Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and communications with clients, courts, and outside parties
• Prepare documents for filing and ensure they meet court and procedural requirements
• Help keep matters moving efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced legal environment
• Use Microsoft Office, PDFs, and legal software to support daily workflow
• Provide dependable administrative and litigation support with strong follow-through

Qualifications

• Prior law firm or legal industry experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or some college preferred
• Familiarity with legal documents, terminology, and office procedures
• Experience with legal software, case management, and docketing systems preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
• Professional, dependable, and discreet with confidential information
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDFs, and digital files
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred
