A company is looking for an Import Compliance Specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport customs compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations and internal controlsInterface with customs brokers and carriers to resolve import/export operational issuesConduct compliance reviews and audits, and analyze import/export data for risk and cost-saving opportunitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in Trade Compliance or Brokerage environment; Licensed Customs Broker preferredStrong knowledge of Free Trade, Duty Drawback, HTS, and export regulationsFamiliarity with US and Canadian product regulations including FDA and EPAIntermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
