Medical Support Assistant

This is an entry level position. The duties listed below are at the full performance level and vary by location. All Grade levels MAY NOT be available at all locations.

• Interview patients to obtain patient registration information.
• Assist patients in completing forms and review for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify patient third party eligibility documents (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid and/or private insurance).
• Identify patients who do not have alternate resources and assigns them to the appropriate Patient Benefits Coordinator.
