Summary

Oversees the operational needs of the department as part of the management team. Directs the daily activities in the kitchen/cafeteria, manages the food service program and supervise and evaluates food service personnel. Responsible for scheduling, assigning, and flexing of staff. Addresses special needs of Patients, Visitors, and Staff to assure a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for all support duties to facilitate departmental operation as assigned by the manager. Assists in assuring compliance with Nevada State, Federal, and accrediting bodies regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. A year's work experience above and beyond other years of experience requirements may be substituted in lieu of education requirement.
• A minimum of (5) five years' experience in food services healthcare setting, or (2) two years' supervisory experience, or a combination of either that totals greater than (5) five years' experience.

• A minimum of (5) five years' experience in food service in healthcare setting and a minimum of (2) two years in a supervisory role.
• Serve Safe certified.
