The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking applications for a Director of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE). This position provides strategic leadership for a comprehensive, campus-wide student leadership and engagement ecosystem that advances student learning, belonging, civic responsibility, and leadership identity development. Housed within the Division of Student Services, the Director oversees the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) and related auxiliary operations that support student access, leadership, and experiential learning, creating a robust co-curricular learning environment. The Director leads a multidisciplinary team of professional staff and student leaders responsible for leadership development, civic and democratic engagement, inclusive student organizations, large-scale campus programming, and auxiliary enterprises.
This role promotes ethical decision-making, fiscal stewardship, and socially responsible operations while preparing students to be engaged citizens and leaders at the University of Nevada, Reno and beyond. The Director reports to the Assistant Vice President of Leadership and Engagement and serves as a key advisor on student engagement, leadership development, event strategy, and student success.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of related professional work experience OR
Master's Degree and three (3) years of related professional work experience
Related Experience: Progressively responsible professional experience in higher education in areas of student development/student programs, strategic planning, fiscal management and staff supervision or related experience.
