Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech Job Details: • Work 36-hour weekly schedule with 3x12 hour shifts • Rotating days throughout the week, mainly weekends and varied graveyard shifts • May be required to pick up call shifts (details discussed during interview) • Must work major holidays and potentially pick up one additional shift during schedule period • May be required to float to other departments based on competency level • Must maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) registration • MRI Registry required at time of hire • AHA BLS certification required • Minimum two years of clinical or hospital-based MRI experience required • Background of five recent years in Radiologic specialties preferred • Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists with procedures • Operate MRI scanning equipment efficiently and accurately • Provide patient care for all age groups from infant to geriatric • Maintain knowledge of MRI physics, contrast media, and 3D anatomy • Handle technical decisions to ensure optimal MRI image quality • Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment Facility: This medical center serves as the region's only Level II Trauma Center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually.
