Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Sparks, Nevada

Salary: $80-100K plus bonus

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and development process of mechanical systems and components. The primary responsibilities will be to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software as well as to document, design, and improve the manufacturing processes necessary to manufacture existing and future product designs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and part designs (OnShape, Solidworks, etc).
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and other technical documentation to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for mechanical design and drafting.
• Convert conceptual models into practical, functional, and manufacturable product drawings.
• Attend and manage design reviews to identify and resolve potential issues related to manufacturability, assembly, and performance.
• Thoroughly document existing manufacturing processes, including workflow, equipment used, and time cycles.
• Develop and implement improvements to existing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Design and establish new manufacturing processes for upcoming products, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and sustainable.
