As a Maker Wrangler, you will be a full-fledged member of the De. La. Mare Science & Engineering Library team. You will learn to operate the equipment in the makerspace including the laser cutter, 3 D printers, vinyl cutter, vacuum former, sewing machines, and machining tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving and develop the skills and interpersonal connections needed to support our academic library community. They will provide the highest level of customer service and promote a safe environment. Responsibilities Day-to-day operations of the makerspace. Provide initial hands-on training to all new users of makerspace resources and assist patrons in utilizing all pieces of equipment. Conduct one-on-one consultations with users on topics such as 3 D modeling, 3 D scanning, and project design implementation for students, faculty, staff, and community members.
