This role involves developing and implementing quality processes and standards, analyzing data, leading root cause investigations and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations.CORE VALUES: The following list of Core Values and Behaviors are necessary to meet the minimum requirements:TEAMWORKHelp each other succeedCommunicate clearly and directly, listen wellEncourage teammatesBlameless problem solvingHONESTY AND INTEGRITYHonor your commitmentsDo the right thingConsistent in your attitudes and actionsLEANImprove processesOpen to new ideasShare information, and teachExpose issuesNUMBERS FOCUSEDDeliver resultsAnalyze data for improvementTake ownership and accountabilityWork smarter, not harderEXCELLENCEExhibit passion in serving customersContribute solutionsSense of urgencyBe the best at what you doSeek knowledgeFUNBe positiveCelebrate achievementsDon't take yourself too seriouslyCHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:EssentialDevelop and implement procedures, standards, and other documentation to support the Future Form Manufacturing quality system.Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.Investigate production issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase product quality and reduce scrap, rework, and warranty issues.Drive improvement in quality processes to increase efficiency and/or accuracy.Monitor production processes for compliance with internal and external quality standards.Interface with customers as needed to address nonconformances, including all appropriate follow-up actions.Conduct audits (internal and supplier) and assist in preparation for external audits (ISO and customer).Write detailed internal and supplier audit reports.Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, process records, NCR data, and audit findings.Utilize appropriate quality tools and statistical methods such as SPC, spreadsheets, CMM reports and PPAP to analyze process/product data and drive performance improvement.Train employees on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices.Evaluate existing and potential suppliers in support of improvement and/or outsourcing initiatives.Conduct drawing and process reviews in support of outsourcing projects.Interface with suppliers regarding quality and/or technical issues.Participate in product design reviews and process development to ensure quality considerations are addressed.Plan and devise inspection methods, including selection of the appropriate gaging and fixtures.Oversee the calibration program.Plan, coordinate, and document trials to evaluate alternate processes and/or materials.Serve as backup for QA inspection as needed.Maintain documentation to support regulatory compliance (RoHS, conflict minerals, etc).All other duties assignedREPORTS TO: Director of Quality AssuranceWORKS WITH: Customers, Suppliers, and Future Form Team MembersSAFETY REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Follow all OSHA safety regulations and those set by Future Form Manufacturing.REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:EssentialBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience4+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within manufacturingKnowledge of quality tools including root cause analysis, 5-Whys, control plans, and statistical methodsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration skillsStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office)Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standardsStrong ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specificationsExperience with ERP systems and data analysis toolsAbility to travel as neededAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentSelf-starter with initiativeHigh degree of professionalismStrong attention to detailBeneficialWorking familiarity with mechanical gages (calipers, micrometers, etc)Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Knowledge of coordinating measuring machines (CMM)Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principlesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:Sit 40%, Stand 20%, Walk 15%, Drive 25%. Maximum (minutes): Sit 90, Stand 30, Walk 30, Drive 60.Working Environment: Office, shop and outdoor environments. Moderate noise level. Exposure to dust, heat and cold.This position will require drug testing per company policy.Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
