The primary accounting responsibilities would be supporting one of the main operating companies in the distribution and apparel industry. Position reports to the the Controller consultant and Managing Director or Finance & Administration and functions across teams and locations.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Nevada. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting requirements.Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes.Organizes and Presents Financial Reports to Managers.Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping:Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll support and general ledger journal entries and reconciliationMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Annual Tax Support:Assist in the preparation of information for annual tax filings.Provide necessary documentation and explanations during preparation and filing processes.Budgeting and Forecasting:Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.Monitor budget variances and provide explanations as needed.Conduct financial analysis to support decision‑making processes.Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.Compliance:Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.Project oversight and related communications:Manage and provide guidance on various projects and extended tasks that relate to property management and improvement.Facilitate communication with stakeholder on costs and timelines as well as financial estimates through to eventual final results.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of experience in operational accounting (AP, AR, PR, GL) and financial reporting roles.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software such as Business Central and intermediate+ MS Excel.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
