Lead Cook

This lead cook opportunity is full time on our nutrition services department and offers full benefits and a convenient varied shift schedule.

Job duties/responsibilities:

• Determines types and quantities of all foods to be prepared by reviewing planned menus and printed tallies.
• Determines foods/supplies/equipment that are low in supply and uses list to communicate to director/supervisor.
• Assists in putting foods/supplies away appropriately in designated storage area after delivery.
• Ensures meals are ready at specified times and consults with director/supervisor regarding use of leftover food.

Qualifications requirements:

• One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire.
