ICQA Associate

A distribution facility in the Reno area is now hiring ICQA Associates! This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse experience. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Job Summary: The ICQA Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, auditing inventory locations, and supporting overall inventory control processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the warehouse
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Verify product locations and inventory quantities
• Assist with inventory investigations and root cause analysis
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as needed
• Utilize warehouse management systems to update inventory information
• Support warehouse operations while ensuring inventory accuracy standards are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and inventory control guidelines

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Ability to work overtime or non-standard hours as business needs require
• Must successfully pass a basic math assessment
