The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a temporary Community Services Participant Liaison position within the Sanford Center for Aging (SCA), School of Medicine. This position reports to the Community Services Director. Community Services at SCA includes three interconnected, grant-funded programs:
The Volunteer Transportation Program (VTP) provides free transportation for older adults in Washoe County through a network of staff and volunteers.
Senior Outreach Services (SOS) engages volunteers to provide one-on-one, in-home companionship for isolated older adults, as well as support for family caregivers.
The Washoe County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), funded through AmeriCorps Seniors, recruits and places individuals age 55 and older into meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

The position is five days per week; 32 hrs. total.
