Forklift Driver (Cycle Count) - Warehouse Operations

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forklift Driver / Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines forklift operation with hands-on inventory control, ensuring products are properly tracked, stored, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory / Cycle Counting

• Perform daily cycle counts in assigned warehouse zones
• Verify product quantities, locations, and item numbers using RF scanners
• Compare physical counts to system records and identify discrepancies
• Investigate and help resolve inventory variances
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

Forklift Operation

• Operate sit-down or reach forklift to access pallet locations
• Retrieve pallets for counting and verification
• Safely return products to assigned storage locations
• Assist with inventory movements such as put-away and replenishment

Warehouse Support

• Assist with audits, recounts, and inventory projects
• Support picking, staging, and material movement as needed
• Consolidate and organize inventory for efficient storage
• Maintain proper labeling and bin location accuracy

Quality & Accuracy

• Inspect products for damage, mislabeling, or incorrect placement
• Identify and report shortages, overages, or defects
• Ensure accurate tracking of SKUs, lot numbers, and quantities
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Conduct daily forklift inspections when operating equipment
• Maintain clean, organized aisles and workspaces
• Use proper PPE and safe material handling practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40-60 lbs as needed
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights when using reach equipment
• Ability to operate forklifts safely for part of the shift

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience (sit-down and/or reach truck) required
• Inventory or cycle count experience strongly preferred
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
