We offer, on site training and mentoring for all positions.BASIC OVERVIEWOutbound Associates are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving product and shipping orders, ensuring they are processed, put away, and shipped in a timely and secure manner. Some of these positions require forklift operation. Associates will receive in house training for success in their position. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and be able to embrace change. You will be using a number of different body mechanics including, but not limited to, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.Responsibilities ESSENTIAL JOBS AND JOB FUNCTIONSOrder Picker-Drive an order picker to assigned bins, identifying proper items and quantities for all ordersWalk to assigned bins, identifying proper items and quantities for all ordersEnsure that all orders are picked properly in a timely manner with strong attention to detailUse a scanner to verify and identify products and then load products onto a conveyor beltOrder Prepper-Identify correct pallet size and downsize packaging to minimize shipping costs without sacrificing product quality and ensure that the product will be delivered without damagePrepare pallets for shipment by making sure the order is properly stacked, wrapped, and protected in transit.Operate wrap machines and adjust settings based on pallet size and weight, using different wrapping techniques to make sure order is securedLabel orders with appropriate stickersContainer Unloader-Unload containers in a timely fashion, within required limitations set by drivers and the companyConfirm item numbers and quantity of orders with high level to detailReceive and stock inventory to fulfill orders as they are processed to ensure a high level of speed and accuracyTruck Loader-Accurately identify carrier based off label on packageMove palletized product from non-con and fast track taping areas to load onto proper designated trucks if neededEfficiently stack packages into correct trailer based on carrier in an interlocking patternLock out incoming trailers and unlock outgoing trailersALL OUTBOUND POSITIONS-Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to carry out job duties; adhere to all safety training and Company policiesAdhere to attendance policy by maintaining regular, predictable on-site attendanceClearly communicate with manager any issues or concerns that arise regarding work dutiesReport any forklift issues to the Team Lead or Manager promptly to ensure they are properly resolved.Meet or exceed the department standards for productivity and accuracyMaintain a clean work area, including the removal of empty boxes from bins or aisles as neededOther duties as assignedSHIFT SCHEDULESMonday - Friday7:30am - 4:00pmMonday - Friday9:00am - 5:30pmWAGEStarting Wage is $24.00/hr, with the potential raise every 6 months of up to $0.88.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
