You'll have the opportunity to work in several areas of the DC such as order fill, replenishment, services, or fish warehouse.Lead DC Operations Supervisors who manage teams of up to 30 associates in a behavior‑based performance cultureDevelop talent through everyday performance management tools, systems, and resourcesOversee daily planning, organization and operation of a distribution centerBalance workloads as needed to achieve production and delivery goalsCommunicate daily goals, recognition, and areas of focus effectivelySkillfully lead teams in an ever‑changing environmentCoach and lead supervisor team to follow policies and safety standardsManage talent through interviewing and selecting talentCommunicate to senior leaders and across the businessUtilize software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics and anticipate and solve opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForPassion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career4‑6 years of leadership experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredApply basic instructions and procedures and respond to standard requests which may be written, oral, by headset or walkie talkieAbility to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry and lift up to 50 poundsComfortable alternating between standing, sitting and/or walking for an entire shift typically 10‑12 hoursWilling and able to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment including but not limited to reach truck, stand‑ups, dock stocker, and pushcarts (proper training and safety standards are provided)Work in various temperatures and noise levelsMust be able to work in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change quicklyDo What You LoveWe are delighted you are interested in joining our pack and helping us in our commitment to doing Anything for Pets, and the people who love them.
