2nd Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - 6:00am - 5:00pm & 8:00am - 7:00pmJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Quality Control Specialist to support outbound logistics and ensure all products meet quality standards before leaving the warehouse. This role is responsible for verifying product accuracy, preparing shipping documentation, coordinating shipments, and performing final quality inspections to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities Shipping & LogisticsCreate shipping documents including Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping labelsSchedule outbound shipments including LTL, FTL, and parcel carriersAssign appropriate shipping methods based on cost, service level, and delivery timelineCommunicate daily with management regarding order status, shipment progress, and potential delaysVerify shipment details such as weights, quantities, and documentation against order records before dispatchWork with carriers and internal teams to ensure shipments leave on scheduleQuality ControlPerform final quality inspections before orders are shippedVerify that products meet quality standards and specificationsEnsure all items are properly packaged, labeled, and documentedConfirm customer and carrier information before pallets are loaded onto trucksTake and store photos of pallets, labels, and shipment conditionDocument quality checks and maintain accurate inspection recordsIdentify quality or documentation issues and report them to the appropriate personnelWarehouse & Process SupportMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with inventory verification and documentationWork with sales and operations teams to ensure orders meet customer requirementsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and report suggestions to managementStay informed on shipping regulations, logistics procedures, and best practicesSkills And Attributes Shipping documentation and logistics coordinationQuality inspection and complianceInventory verificationAttention to detail and accuracyTime management and organizationQualifications High school diploma or equivalentExperience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or quality control preferredExperience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or freight carriers preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and decision-making skillsPhysical Requirements This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, and other physical activities.
