The qualified candidate will assist customers, sales, technical support, R&D, and production by providing technical support, application evaluations, prototype equipment testing, documentation reviews, and new equipment installation and training on all Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems products.Essential FunctionsUse SAP reporting tools to verify the accuracy of LECS MetricsEnsure Bills of Lading are correctMaintain shipping and receiving records and documentationWork cross functionally to provide inventory reporting, resolve inventory issues, and develop support strategies that continuously improve inventory accuracyCompile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in inventoryShip packages using UPS and FedExComplete shipping labels for domestic and international shipmentsVerify that purchase documents accurately reflect quoted pricing and ordered quantities; identify, document, and resolve discrepancies within scope of authority.Maintain a proactive approach to inventory control; advise management of improvements, potential cost savings, and order handling efficienciesAnalyze inventory levels and coordinate with production, planning, purchasing, and sales to identify and address shortagesVerify inventory needs and coordinate expediting and handling activities across departments to support internal and external customer demandPerform general shop duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload allowsRequired SkillsHigh School diploma/GED or equivalentAbility to read and comprehend basic CAD drawingsKnowledge of general warehouse processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentUncompromising attitude toward safety, customer service and qualityPreferred SkillsExperience in a manufacturing environmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklift and pallet jack traffic, and varying noise levels typical of a production facility. The environment may include exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and vibration. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection.
