Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop and implement maintenance plans for the plant's equipment, including machinery, conveyors, batch plants, and other infrastructure.
• Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Address equipment failures, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs, either directly or through a team of mechanics.
• Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Supervision and Training: Supervise maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Quality and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, and that equipment is maintained to the highest quality standards.
• Budget Management: Manage the maintenance budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with plant management, production staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment failures, and repairs.
• Vendor Management: Develop relationships with maintenance vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts and supplies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in maintenance practices and procedures to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
