Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate

Signature Solar LLC is a solar supply warehouse based in Sulphur Springs, TX. Our company has become a leader in solar distribution on a retail and wholesale scale. We are growing at a rapid rate and are looking for hardworking, dedicated team members to grow with us!

A successful candidate must be able to:

• The Shipping/Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming inventory items, ensuring they match the corresponding purchase orders and meet quality standards. This role involves careful inspection, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
• Inspect the quality, condition, and quantity of any incoming goods, and allocate them to the appropriate space in the warehouse.
• Provide punctual receipt, forms and communication to the Inventory Team regarding all inbound deliveries on correct and incorrect qty and item deliveries. Additionally, any overage, shortages, and damage products will be documented and communicated to the Inventory Team for escalation.
• Transfer stock items inside the warehouse using a pallet jack or forklift when applicable.
• Ensure picking locations are properly stocked and correctly labeled
• Ensure all overstock pallets are properly labeled and put away
• Ensure work area is clean and organized, and free of potential hazards
• Remain in a stationary position 90% of the time
• Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50lbs across the warehouse for various needs
• Stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• May work in a warehouse with varying temperatures.
• Report issues, problems and/or observations on a daily basis to Supervisor.
• All other duties assigned to help assist the daily functions of the warehouse.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Competence in a myriad of warehouse tasks, to include such things as inventory counts; QC shipping parcel and LTL; receiving incoming Inventory shipments; loading trailers; stacking product on pallets; scanning and documenting outgoing shipments; etc.
• Attention to detail, willing attitude, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
• Ability to multitask
• Capable of consistently working a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications:

• Solid, consistent, work history
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and computer literacy.
• Must be able to maintain working conditions (safety, quality, cleanliness, & costs)
• Must be able to assist in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance.
