Job Description
Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their Reno office!
7-week contract. 100% on-site and the hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday 7:30am-11:30am.
This position is a temporary Administrative Assistant role supporting an employee who will be out on leave.
• Oversee and manage the front desk on a daily basis
• Greet and sign in visitors; maintain a professional and welcoming environment
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally
• Set up conference rooms for meetings, ensuring all technology is functioning properly
• Stock the break room and maintain cleanliness and organization
• Print, copy, and troubleshoot printers as needed
• Order catered lunches, set up food for meetings, and manage cleanup afterward
• Coordinate and manage basic facility-related work orders (e.g., HVAC issues, water filter replacements)
• Handle FedEx deliveries and shipments
• Assist with production support as capacity allows, including copying, scanning, and binding proposals

Skills and Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license
High school diploma
Ability to keep up with rapidly changing technology
Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills with ability to meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and respond to multiple project managers
Proactive and detail oriented, working with a sense of urgency
Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe - Related experience in an Engineering/Architectural consulting industry preferred
