Overview The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment at the Foot Locker Distribution Center in Reno. This role supports safety, asset protection, and operational continuity through access control, patrols, monitoring, documentation, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Security Officers are expected to operate professionally, follow post orders and SOPs, and collaborate with business partners to support daily distribution center operations.Available full-time shift: Friday – Monday 1:00 PM – 11:00 PMResponsibilities Enforce security policies, procedures, and post ordersMaintain control of facility access pointsMonitor alarms, cameras, and access systemsConduct interior and exterior patrols and inspectionsIdentify and report safety hazards, security risks, and policy violationsComplete accurate and timely documentation including shift logs, incident reports, and pass-downsRespond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and emergency situationsParticipate in required training, coaching, and performance reviewsQualifications Experience in a distribution center or industrial work environmentFamiliarity with access control systems, CCTV, and/or alarm monitoringExperience writing reports or documenting incidentsStrong situational awareness and decision-making skillsAble to stand and walk for extended periods and patrol both interior and exterior areasAbility to respond quickly to emergency situationsCapable of lifting up to 25 pounds as requiredProfessionalism and the ability to interact respectfully with all levels of the business, including team members, vendors, and visitorsBenefits Base rate paid bi-weekly: $21.00 / hrShift incentives: 2nd shift $1.00 per hour workedFoot Locker employee discount: 30% off in-store and online401(k) with company match and Roth optionStock purchase planMedical / dental / vision / life insuranceClimate-controlled environmentDevelopment and advancement opportunitiesEducation reimbursement program#J-18808-Ljbffr
