In addition to paid vacation, sick and holiday time as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer match.health, dental and visionAD&D, LTD, STD, Employee Life Insurance at no costpaid vacation, sick and holiday time401(k)-retirement plan with employer matchWe're currently hiring an Inventory Consumption Clerk for 2nd Shift. 2nd shift schedule starting 4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday (occasional overtime).SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: (Summary of job duties) This position provides support and cross departmental coordination for inventory control process for raw material and packaging supplies. Conduct cycle counts for raw materials and packaging materials for Amarillo Plant. Make adjustment in Navision on moves of ingredients. Work with QA department for cross departmental activities and adjustments. Track code dates and on hold cheese to minimize waste.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and print pick ticketsReview special instructions and change reserves as requiredWork with internal departments, and assist in analyzing proper stock status and inventory stocking levelsAssign selected pick tickets to the appropriate warehouse departments as instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor/ ManagerInventory ControlMaintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and data entries.Works with Customer Service to resolve customer complaints through cycle counts and product analysisSupports the warehouse staff with reserves and corrections of inventory discrepancies.Report and confirm errors using the department incident document.Review the warehouse bin locations for double entries and discrepancies. Make necessary adjustments.Prepares the storage coolers for quarterly inventories.Daily review of warehouse zones for discrepancies.Reviews partial bin locations and consolidate as necessary.Weekly cycle count and lot code recording of perishable items. Works with purchasing for direction.Visual safety inspection of the warehouse coolers and dock locations.Overall support for all departments when it comes to warehouse inventory needs.Review QA hold inventory.Weekly cycle counts of the QA Zone trim and powderReview FIFO and aging of productsVerify moves between QA & Man/rawReview discrepancies and determine root causeMake adjustments as necessaryInfeed document control and closing of RPsCollect all infeed records and review for accuracyReview Outbound and Inbound Zones.Work with the appropriate leads/supervisors and correct any discrepanciesClose RPsPerform Warehouse Associate duties as needed.Attends all department and company required trainings.Performs others duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Must have experience working with computers and have the ability to learn, navigate and use designated software programs as required to perform job functions. Must be able to exercise good judgment when necessary with minimum supervision. Must be able to work effectively in a multi-tasking work environment and prioritize workload. Must be able to work independently and have the ability to interact positively with others within the department and organization. Familiarity of cheese and warehouse functions are important. Navision, Microsoft Word, Excel.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School graduation or GED. 1-2 years experience in a similar role.WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is normally performed in a warehouse/production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low as 32 degrees, low environmental temperature levels. Noise level in the production environment may require use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, frequent lifting of material up to 50 pounds and frequent twisting, turning, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
