Security Officer Entry Screening

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in McCarran, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics and distribution. As a screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and support a welcoming, controlled environment. You will maintain a visible presence, help to deter incidents, communicate clearly with site personnel, and provide exceptional customer service. Mon 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

Tue 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

Thur 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

Sat 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

Sun 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and security-related procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and documentation, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including shipping, receiving, warehouse, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
