Location: Reno, NV

Job Type: Contract / Temporary Assignment

Pay Rate: Up to $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Standard Business Hours

Our client is a well-established distributor and solutions provider supporting wireless communications, network infrastructure, broadband, and technology deployment projects across a variety of industries. With decades of experience serving commercial, enterprise, government, and telecommunications customers, the organization is recognized for delivering operational excellence, technical expertise, and supply chain support throughout the United States.

This temporary opportunity will support a large-scale ERP system implementation and business transformation initiative. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, processing customer orders, and supporting internal workflows during the system transition.

Position Overview

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide critical operational support during an ERP conversion project. This individual will be responsible for data entry, order processing, case management, and general administrative support to help ensure seamless day-to-day operations throughout the implementation process.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & System Support

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate information within the company's ERP platform and related systems.
  • Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support data migration and validation activities during the implementation process.
  • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with established procedures.
Order Processing
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Review order details to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with maintaining order integrity throughout the system transition.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order-related issues.
Case Management & Triage
  • Review incoming customer inquiries, requests, and support cases.
  • Prioritize and route cases to the appropriate departments.
  • Monitor case status and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records and provide updates as needed.
Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative assistance to support operational and customer service teams.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and business records.
  • Assist with special projects related to process improvement and system implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity during the transition.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in administrative support, data entry, order processing, customer service, or related functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience handling high-volume data entry and transactional work.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience working within ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or business process changes.
  • Experience with customer support ticketing or case management systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
