Job Title: Customer Service RepresentativeJob DescriptionThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting the Customer Service Supervisor and department in daily activities. This includes creating and issuing invoices, initiating billing cycles, and verifying appropriate charges.The role also involves generating freight quotes using established company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service support via telephone and email.Responsibilities+ Create and issue invoices accurately and timely.+ Initiate billing cycles and verify appropriate charges.+ Generate quotes for freight using established company policies and procedures.+ Provide excellent customer service support by telephone and email.+ Manage and communicate with customers utilizing email 90% of the time and phone 10% of the time, mostly with internal teams.+ Communicate client needs, concerns, and delivery information through a queue of around 100-200 emails/updates per day.+ Give status updates and proof of delivery (POD) to customers.+ Manage internal orders with the warehouse.Essential Skills+ Proficiency in data entry and customer service.+ Ability to manage and communicate effectively with customers via email.+ Experience in logistics, transportation, and freight management.+ Strong communication skills for customer support and call center operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ High School diploma or GED equivalent.+ Efficient use of MS Office, specifically email.+ One-year of business billing experience is nice to have.+ Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is an office setting with a team of around 14 in the CSR department. Shifts can vary between the operating hours of 7am-6pm and will be discussed during the interview process. A professional dress code is expected, excluding workout wear.
