Warehouse Associate
$24- $25/hr
This role supports a large data center operation by receiving, shipping, picking, and packing server equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records using basic computer applications. The Warehouse Associate works a structured weekday schedule and plays a key role in ensuring that server orders are processed efficiently, safely, and with a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming servers and related equipment for a large data center and verify quantities and item details against shipping and receiving documents.
- Prepare outgoing shipments of servers by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders according to established procedures.
- Use computer applications, including Excel and Word, to record and track inventory, update order status, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform inventory control activities, including counting, organizing, and tracking materials to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Handle material movement within the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and relocating servers and components using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company and safety guidelines, when authorized and trained.
- Assist with mechanical or basic assembly tasks related to servers and equipment as needed.
- Follow OSHA and workplace safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety training such as OSHA 10 where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following housekeeping standards and organizing inventory and work areas.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail when handling equipment, entering data, and completing documentation to minimize errors and rework.
Essential Skills
- Experience in receiving and shipping operations, preferably in a warehouse or data center environment.
- Ability to use computers for inventory and documentation, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Willingness and ability to wear composite toe shoes and follow all safety requirements.
- Reliability in working scheduled shifts and managing tasks within defined timelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a construction, mechanical assembly, or general labor environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse processes supporting data centers or technology equipment.
- OSHA 10 certification or completion of similar safety training.
- Comfort working with mechanical equipment and tools in a warehouse setting.

Work Environment
This position follows an A shift schedule, working Wednesday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with additional work every other Saturday as needed. The role is based in a clean, organized warehouse environment that supports a large data center, with a focus on safe material handling and efficient workflow. Team members work around servers, mechanical components, and material handling equipment, including forklifts, and are expected to follow OSHA and company safety practices. Composite toe shoes are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety while handling equipment and moving materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
