If you're looking for an opportunity to be a part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and dedication, we're the right company for you!Southern Hobby is seeking a Warehouse Associate, with responsibilities ranging from pulling/shipping/packing orders, stocking inventory, cycle counting, loading/unloading freight and other tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager. Weu2019re looking for someone who has a great attention to detail and can work at a solid, consistent pace with accuracy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.Southern Hobby Distribution is a dynamic environment, filled with associates passionate about the collectible industry. We are the #1 US distributor for exciting brands such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh and Blood, and several other leading trading card games. We are also an authorized distributor for Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Leaf, and TriStar sports cards and memorabilia. In addition, we carry collectible toys, RPGs, miniatures, and board games.Duties/ResponsibilitiesPulling, packing, and shipping orders.Use of RF Handheld EquipmentAssists with inventory control and preventing shrinkageHelping maintain organization of the warehouseMaintain a positive work atmosphere that strengthens the teamLoad and unload freight in a safe and efficient mannerLearn and memorize warehouse productsComplete other duties as assigned by warehouse leads or Management staffConducting physical inventory and adjusting discrepanciesMaintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse areaHandles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issuesOther duties are assigned by leadershipRegular and reliable attendanceRequired Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed.Ability to take directions and follow procedures.Strong attention to detail and accuracy (High proficiency)Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Physical Requirements1-3 years' experience working in a warehouse preferred.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
