Regional Security SpecialistThe selectee will serve as a Regional Security Specialist in the Office of Administration - Security, Security Programs Division. Typical work assignments include:Interprets and implements Executive Orders, Regulations, and USSS guidelines and policies to develop security, Emergency Preparedness (EP), and Continuity of Operations (COOP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and applicable instructions for internal and external stakeholders.Monitors facility security program, to include facility access control standards for Field Office personnel, to include contractors and visitors.Monitors the effectiveness of the local security, EP, and COOP programs and provides advice and guidance to investigative office personnel regarding updates, procedures, and other requirements.This Regional Security Specialist position starts at a base salary of $90,925.00, GS-13 Step 1, with potential to $118,204.00 GS-13 Step 10.The selectee may report to and work from any of the below listed offices while still being required to travel to the other offices on a regular basis:Billings Resident AgencyBoise Resident AgencyDenver Field OfficeLas Vegas Field OfficeOklahoma City Field OfficeReno Resident OfficeSalt Lake City Resident OfficeApplicants will only be considered for one location based on the duty station selected.
