K&S Staffing Solutions is hiring Driveline Technician 1 candidates for a busy automotive/industrial operation in Reno, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build their skills in driveline and drivetrain assembly.

Job Duties

• Assist with driveline and drivetrain component assembly

• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble driveline components

• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

• Follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures

• Inspect parts for damage, wear, or defects

• Measure and verify components for proper fit and alignment

• Assist with balancing, testing, and quality-control procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Accurately complete production and inspection paperwork

• Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Mechanical, automotive, diesel, or industrial experience preferred

• Previous driveline, transmission, differential, or drivetrain experience is a plus

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Dependable attendance and positive work attitude

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks

• Willingness to learn new mechanical skills
