What to Expect

LZMS Nevada is looking for an experienced and driven Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a dynamic team of associates and material handlers while managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas of the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our planning and plant leadership team to ensure production goals are being met.

Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of a production supervisor include:

• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
• Identifying training needs and organizing training sessions for production and material handling workers
• Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and implementing quality control programs
• Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure minimal downtime
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff and management.
• Checking the quality of the products being produced to ensure they meet the required standards
• Working with plant leadership to implement the company`s policies and goals
• Collaborating with other supervisors and production planning to optimize productivity and efficiency
• Identifying and resolving any issues that could cause production delays
