Credit Team Specialist for Call Center Department 

Reno Staffing is looking for a  credit team specialist for a high-end tool manufacturer located in the North Reno/Stead!

This position is for a high-end tool manufacturer looking for a candidate with call center experience. This is a full-time in person position and does not provide hybrid or remote opportunities at this time. 


Shift: Monday - Friday 7:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $18.50/hr.
Location: Reno, NV 89506

Summary:  

The position is responsible for reviewing credit requests, validating accuracy of shipments, and working directly with the distributers to resolve shipping/receiving issues. Will work with all departments of the Company to ensure the customer is satisfied to the best of their abilities and follow the correct process provided by the client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist customers with order status, backorder status and freight charges if necessary.
  • Research problems related to orders.
  • Initiates and issues return goods authorizations and warehouse research forms via clients portals. 
  • Keeps detailed daily reports and customer information.· Stays current on system and process changes.
  • Works on issues concerning billing or service rendered which includes investigating and/or referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation within the applicable threshold.
  • Initiates and issues return goods authorizations.
  • Processes credits and/or replacement orders for product returned from all distributors. 
  • Reviews the validity of deductions/short payments for chargebacks/fines pertaining to compliances issues, shortages, returns (including warranty deduction), Destroyed in Field product, etc.

At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined above.

  • Used to working for a large company, an
  • Experience working with LDL Freight carriers and other shipping companies
  • Must be able to multi-task and have strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, supervisors, sales reps, and customer service reps.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Outlook.
  • Able to utilize multiple computer systems simultaneously, (10-12 systems) multiple computer screens

A resume with recent call center experience and relevant skills is required, minimum of 1 year in call center, assessment and interview will be required, no drug test will be provided upon offer acceptance.
