Reno Staffing is looking for a Project Manager I for a Property Damage Services Company in the South Reno area!
This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible for a company that provides property damager services, restoration and constructions in South Reno.
Shift: Monday - Friday
Pay: $70k-$80k
Location: Reno, NV 89502
Summary:
The Project Manager I utilizes independent judgement in performing site inspections to communicate, organize, and deliver quality projects, completed on time and within budget. Your goal is to deliver expected results and great customer service. Daily you should be communicating with the Superintendent on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget. In this role it is expected that you are handling the equivalent of $1.2 million in projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Assume responsibility for successful execution of restoration or reconstruction projects and project profitability.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, and claim representatives.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, schedules, and ongoing project costs on multiple jobs at once.
- Hit margin goals on over 85% of projects
- Ensure all projects are performed in a timely, professional, and consistent manner.
- Work closely with Superintendent to ensure successful completion of assigned jobs
- Lead, direct, train, and coach employees and subcontractors
- Visit worksite to verify progress, assist crews in resolving challenges, and answer questions.
- Understand and train on safety procedures on jobsites to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
- Attend all appropriate company meetings, and company training sessions
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers routinely
- Delivers above and beyond customer service to your customers
- Actively be available to customers though multiple forms of communication, email, texts, calls.

Physical Demands:
- Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force routinely, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Ascends/descends ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Maintain balance in all situations.
- Push, pull and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Coordinate movement with eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
- See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- 3 years working in the industry or 3 years supervisory level or higher in related field
- Possess a Sales license, or can obtain within first 90-days working
- Possess a strong construction background and be able to communicate with Insurance Adjusters/Reps that may have little construction knowledge

- Ability to recognize and solve problems independently

Work Environment:
- Jobsites may vary from exceptionally clean environments to very dirty environments or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is available for use and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites.
- Regularly exposed to wet, humid, hot, or frigid conditions.
- The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Exposure to moderate noise in the work environment.
- Occasionally required to wear PPE: full and half face respirators, eye protection, gloves, and Tyvek®
