Reno Staffing is looking for Night Shift Quality Technician for a Powder Coating Company in the Tesla Gigafactory!

Available Shift $23.10/hr. Temp to Hire

Weekdays: Monday - Thursday 7pm -5:30am or 9pm-7:30am

Weekends: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7 pm -7:30am

Location: Inside the Tesla Gigafactory, USA Parkway

Summary:  

Performs a variety of standard tests for raw materials, finished  products, chemicals and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you may be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined below.

• Basic titrations and sampling of different types of chemicals. 
• Hourly Part film thickness checks 
• Sets up tests following detailed instruction and procedures. 
• Performs calculations of test results. 
• Maintains detailed test documentation and data records. 
• Performs quality audits, parts sorting, quartile work, verification,  and gauging. 
• Participates in problem solving and process improvement to  correct failures to meet customer commitments or plant metrics  and performance
• Promotes and utilizes 5-S Standards for the line to improve  efficiency, cleanliness, and safety

Education and/or Experience: 

High school diploma or GED; 2 or more years of manufacturing  experience preferred.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

A resume and onsite interview/tour are required to be considered for this position. However, a drug test will be required after interview if considered and will be tested for THC.
