Action Watersports of Tahoe is seeking highly skilled and motivated Boat Mechanic to fill a full-time seasonal role as our lead mechanic.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following job duties outline the essential functions of the position available. Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for servicing various rental boats which include all mechanical aspects including, but not limited to, inboard and outboard motors, drive services, electronic components, etc., while ensuring organizational efficiency, and effective communication with the team. As a lead mechanic you will also be responsible for ordering/sourcing parts.

Qualifications:

• 5 years minimum of Marine Mechanical experience
• Proven experience as a boat technician
• Strong knowledge of Volvo Penta and Mer cruiser systems and components
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain organization and efficiency in your work
• Effectively communicate with others
• Stay calm and perform while in high-pressure situations
• Possess a consistent and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Own and maintain a reliable set of basic mechanics tools and equipment

Safety/Training

• Conform to all Company and Marina policies and procedures in conducting job duties
• Support and implement all existing safety measures and programs as they relate to your position
• Participate in all available safety trainings

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00/hr for an experienced tech
