Job Title: Housekeeper
Reports To: Property Manager and Lead Maintenance
RCMI Property: Villages at Iron Blossom
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property, including common areas, model units, laundry facilities, and make-ready apartments. This role supports resident satisfaction, occupancy goals, and overall property presentation standards.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The following duties are essential to the successful performance of this position. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary to meet operational needs.
1. Common Area Cleaning & Presentation
- Clean office, clubroom, and restrooms daily.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean interior windows and mirrors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean kitchen/break areas, if applicable.
2. Model & Show Unit Maintenance
- Vacuum, dust, and touch-up clean model and show units daily.
- Ensure units are fresh, odor-free, and guest-ready at all times.
3. Laundry Room Maintenance
- Thoroughly clean laundry rooms, including floors, machines, trash cans, and windows.
- Clean dryer vents as scheduled.
- Remove lint and debris to maintain safety and efficiency.
4. Make-Ready & Turnover Support
- Clean make-ready apartments as assigned.
- Perform final touch-up cleaning prior to move-ins.
- Ensure units meet company move-in standards.
5. Inventory & Supply Management
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
- Notify management when supplies are low.
- Use cleaning products properly and efficiently.
6. Customer Service & Professional Conduct
- Provide courteous interactions with residents and prospects.
- Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
7. Other Projects and Duties
- Complete additional projects assigned by the Senior Leadership or Regional Supervisor as the business needs may arise.
8. Key Accountabilities
- Maintain high cleanliness standards across all assigned areas of the property.
- Ensure make-ready units are completed on schedule to support leasing and occupancy goals.
- Contribute to positive resident experiences through professional service and property presentation.
- Safeguard company property and cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedure

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
COMPUTER, TECHNICAL & EQUIPMENT SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products such as outlook emails
- Some technological experience such as timekeeping apps and other employment apps is a plus
- Open to adapt and learn employment technology
